WHY SHOULD I BOOK MISS NAT MACK STUDIO OVER OTHERS?

I have a triple-threat skill set with 15+ years combined experience in Design, Publishing and Marketing. Through the Miss Nat Mack Studio process, authors and publishers across the globe have reached a wider audience, won numerous awards and achieved greater sales.

Unlike large agencies, you work with me 1:1 through the whole process. Unlike in-house designers, you tap into a new pool of creative genius. And unlike using a template, you receive deliverables that not only suit the genre, but stand out against others released at similar times.

I will not rest until you’re 100% over the moon with your design. That’s a promise.

i have a design in mind, can you just make it?

Yes and no.

Your book’s sales rely on a selection of core components. Your cover’s one of them. If the design you have in mind doesn’t align with your target market, current cover trends and industry standards, sadly the chances of it succeeding are slim to zero. I would be doing you and your book a disservice by bringing an idea to life without the necessary strategy needed to give it the highest chance of success on shelves.

Ultimately, it’s my job to create a cover designed to help your book sell, baby, sell. And 9 times out of 10, this involves a design created from scratch. Though, there is one exception.

If your design is the result of psychology, market research, trend-forecasting, genre specifications and the publishing industry’s standards for success – I don’t see why not!

I CAN’T SEE YOUR PRICES. WHAT ARE THEY?

Each book cover adventure is just like its story: entirely different. So, while book cover design services start from £995, total costs depend on your individual needs (like if you require additional formats or even a series). Payment plans are available upon discussion.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ENQUIRE?

While I’m usually booked 8-10 months in advance, I’m available to discuss projects at any point in time.

WILL MY COVER BE CUSTOM?

Yes. In fact, I’m on a mission to prove that templates never truly capture a story’s essence and should be avoided at all costs (yes, even the £5 ones). Each story is unique, so the book cover has to be too.

Your author’s book’s success hangs in the balance of a cover that suits the novel, genre, audience and stands out against the competition. Is that really worth gambling on?

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE WE START?

You’ll need to:

  • Complete my brief sheet (or submit your own)

  • Put together a book aesthetic Pinterest board

  • Submit the back cover copy, final page count, website, address and social media handles

We’ll generally have a short lead-up timeframe between booking and our start date, which is perfect for getting these bits together!

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END?

You’ll receive all your files via WeTransfer, ready for production. Book launch marketing services (from ARC packs to promotional materials) can be added on at a later date.
