Of Scottish descent, born and raised on the western prairies of Alberta, Canada, and now living in Manchester (hence the somewhat confusing accent).

Before jumping into the book world, I studied Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Illustration and Publishing. Now I put all my geeky knowledge and know-how to good use to create drool-worthy covers that grab attention.

With so many tools in my designer belt, I’ve created covers for all kinds of books – fantasy, scifi, non-fiction, horror, up-and-comers, thriller, crime, comic revivals, and (many) more. From art direction to design, illustration to typography, I’m a 4-in-1 team.

A cover is the first marketing step a book will take into the world, and you know what they say about those first impressions!

Through the combination of my skills in marketing, design and publishing, I am able to create not only a striking piece of art that brings a story to life, but one that will target the right market, grabbing the attention of the perfect reader.

When I’m not designing book covers, you can find me travelling the globe with my other half, in a coffee shop being hooked up to a caffeine IV, binging the latest season of The Flash, or in a bookstore (where else?).
